Euphorbia suzanae is native to the rocky slopes of eastern Madagascar, thriving on granite substrates with high ambient humidity. It exhibits a polycarpic, bushy growth habit, distinguished by compact, segmented succulent branches uncommon in arboreal Euphorbias. Segmented branches measuring 3-5 cm, smooth surface, olive green color shifting to pale yellow during dry season. Reduced lanceolate leaves arranged alternately along segments, 1-2 cm long.
Requires filtered sunlight exposure for at least 6 hours daily. Watering limited to spring and autumn, avoiding waterlogging. Substrate with at least 70% well-draining mineral content. Minimum temperature 10°C; susceptible to root rot from overwatering.
